Gamescom Game Fair and Game Developer Nominations, Esports Awards, and Valorant World Championship
Gamescom, one of the biggest gaming events in the world, was extremely popular this year. It is estimated that nearly a third of a million people from 120 different countries attended! It's a great opportunity to see all the new games launched at Gamescom live. We've taken a look at the following:
- Black State;
- Mafia: The Old Country;
- Dune: Awakening;
- Star Wars Outlaws;
- Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl;
- Black Ops 6;
- Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2;
- Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero;
- Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, etc.
These are just a few of the many games officially unveiled at Gamescom. The best part is that some game developers were nominated and won special Gamescom Games Awards. Little Nightmares 3 and Monster Hunter Wilds were particularly well received, picking up as many as 3 game statuettes each.
And that's not all! New PC parts were also unveiled at Gamescom. NVIDIA released exclusive 4080 SUPER graphics cards featuring the Black Myth Wukong and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle game designs. ASUS unveiled the world's first ROG Swift 1440p 480Hz OLED monitor and new keyboards, mice, and headsets in similar styles to the ROG series. And Lian Li presented smaller versions of the Fractal Design North, A3-mATX PC cases.
