Animated "Minecraft" series, "Sony State of Art" news, and the new "ASUS ROG ALLY X" console
From the big-screen staging of the biggest-selling game ever to the sensational "Sony State of Art" launches to the freshly baked new Asus console, there's all that and more in the latest episode of Tech News.
"Minecraft", being the world's biggest game for quite some time now, is about to find its glory on TV screens. The game, which has sold 300 million copies, will soon have its own animated series.
More recently, "Netflix" is rumored to be entering into a collaboration with "Microsoft" and "Mojang". This means that the game, which is celebrating 15 years since its release this year, will have a TV series that will show a different side of the "Minecraft" universe. The entire series will be created by "WildBrain", the studio that has already created series such as "Sonic Prime" and "Ninjago: Dragons Rising".
Whether the series will be a success remains to be seen at the time of release. "Microsoft's" last venture into the film market did not disappoint, with the "Fallout" series on "Amazon" doing really well.
On the other side of the barricades, "Sony" introduced its "State of Art" news. The 30-minute news show revealed more details of the Concord game, and the biggest sensation of the evening was "Astro Bot's" game - "Astro's Playroom" sequel.
Users will be able to control the much-loved cute little robot in more than 50 new levels and try out additional abilities such as flying or suddenly growing like the well-known comic book character "Ant-Man". The game will be released on 6 September.
The technology market has also been full of fun surprises this week. Technology giant "ASUS" announced the launch of a new and twice as powerful gaming console, the "ASUS ROG ALLY X".
With twice the battery life and twice the storage capacity, the console will be quieter and more efficient, both in terms of the console itself and in terms of applications. The improved cooling system alone will reduce ambient sounds, making the console quieter to use.
Importantly, this console is simply an upgrade to the previously released "ASUS ROG ALLY" console, so it is not worth buying a new one if you have the previous version. However, if you don't have one, the next-generation console should cost around 740 euros and will be available at the end of July.
