NZXT, Corsair, ASUS, and other PC giants from COMPUTEX
Exclusive to Computex in Taiwan, new cooling technologies from NZXT and Corsair resizing and re-coloring their hardware, ever-smarter technologies from ASUS - this and so much more from the Computex event in the latest episode of Technology News.
Los Angeles-based American computer technology company NZXT came to Computex with a lot of innovation. The company unveiled the updated H7 Flow PC case.
The new case, while retaining the mid-tower shape, has been configured differently inside to ensure maximum airflow. The bottom of the case houses three 120 mm fans and support radiators: a 420 mm radiator at the front and a 360 mm radiator at the top.
Alongside the updated case, NZXT has also introduced the new F-Series RGB Core Single-Frame fans and individual F-Series fan upgrades, which will make the user's use of the cooling systems even more comfortable and quiet.
While Corsair also showcased its new fans at the event, which offers more color options and RGB features, the most exciting part of these presentations was the technology updates for content creators.
Corsair unveiled the Elgato Customs collection of exclusive designs, from which there will be more than just a white or black stream-deck to choose from. Alongside these design updates, the Corsair One i500 PC case has been updated with an exclusive front design.
Exclusive to Corsair, the company has further slimmed down its power supplies. Now, for a mighty yet tiny PC, the new SF850, and SF1000 power supply models are available.
ASUS continues to impress with the sophistication of its motherboards. The new ROG Maximus Hero BTF motherboard was unveiled at the event, which is optimized for Intel processors.
The main advantage of this motherboard is that the connectors are at the back, so there will be no wires at the front. It can also handle high-power graphics cards (presumably 5080 or 5090 graphics cards) and of course, has the PCIe Slot Q-Release Slim system.
